The Denver Public Library Commission will choose the site today for the new $12 million westside library.
The commission will chose from three proposed sites: the intersection of West 10th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard, the intersection of West Colfax Avenue and Stuart Street, and the intersection of West Colfax Avenue and Irving Street.
The commission will meet at 3:30 p.m. on the seventh floor of the downtown central library to decide the location. Voters in 2007 approved the new library as part of a citywide bond-improvement package.
