Lift every voice and sing
“We Define Who We Are” is the theme of this year’s Juneteenth festival — an event that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. A 9 a.m. parade begins at Fuller Park (behind Manual High School) and ends at the festival site in Five Points. The festival begins at 10:30 a.m. and includes entertainment, food, activities and more. Welton Street between 24th to 29th streets. Admission is free.

Kingdom Days in Breckenridge celebrates the resort town’s history since being founded in 1859.
