An RTD shuttle bus driver who hit a bicyclist on the 16th Street Mall has resigned.
Sander Klein, 43, resigned from the transportation district Thursday, said Scott Reed, an RTD spokesman.
Klein was driving a mall shuttle about 9:40 p.m. June 6 when the bus hit a 72-year-old bicyclist between Lawrence and Larimer streets.
The victim is listed in fair condition.
