DENVER—Organizers of Denver’s gay-pride parade and festival expect the event this weekend to draw about 275,000 people.
The 35th PrideFest starts Saturday morning at Civic Center Park in downtown Denver and runs through Sunday evening. Organizers say there will be performers on four stages, food and 200 booths at the park.
A parade and march will start at Cheesman (CHEESE-mun) Park at 9: 30 a.m. Sunday and go down Colfax Avenue to Civic Center Park.
