HALE, Colo.—Heavy rains have washed out a few county roads and flooded a part of U.S. 385 in northeastern Colorado.

The National Weather Service says some parts of Yuma and Kit Carson counties received about 5 inches of rain Friday night. A flash flood warning has been issued for the area.

County officials have reported flooding on U.S. 385 near Bonny State Park. The Yuma County sheriff’s department says there have been no reports of injuries or damage and no evacuations.

The sparsely populated area is about 190 miles east of Denver.
