AURORA — Aurora Police Association union members ratified a new contract for 2011 by a huge margin, the union president announced Friday.
By a 227 to 35 vote, union members agreed to the new contract, which calls for no cuts in pay. The city originally was seeking a 5 percent cut in salary and benefits.
The Aurora City Council must formally approve the contract.
