GREELEY, Colo.—A former Colorado state trooper has been arrested on suspicion of sexual exploitation of a child after his wife allegedly found images of nude boys on a computer flash drive.
Thirty-eight-year-old Brian Lee Williams of Johnstown surrendered to authorities this week and has been released on a $5,000 bond.
No home phone listing could be found for Williams.
Johnstown police say they began investigating Williams two months ago after his wife contacted them.
The Colorado State Patrol says Williams was a trooper from 1997 and 2004. Officials say they can’t disclose why he left because of privacy rules.
