Passenger traffic at Denver International Airport continued to grow in May, with 4,371,002 travelers passing through the facility — an increase of 4.3 percent over May 2009.
For the first five months of 2010, there was an increase of 747,601 passengers, or 3.8 percent, over the same period last year.
“The May numbers are encouraging figures for what appears to be a busy summer travel season,” said Kim Day, DIA’s aviation manager.
