Gov. Bill Ritter is leading a Colorado delegation on an economic-development trip to Israel with the aim of establishing partnerships in energy, clean technology, water and other fields.
Ritter’s office said Friday that the group will be in Israel from Monday through July 18. They expect to meet with Israeli President Shimon Peres and others.
The Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado is sponsoring the mission, which is being underwritten by private contributions to the federation.
