“THE GLADES,” 8 p.m., A&E Homicide detective Jim Longworth (Matt Passmore, right, with Carlos Gomez) relocates from Chicago to the small, sleepy town of Palm Glade, Fla., where he thinks he’ll have plenty of time to work on his golf game. “Scoundrels,” 8 p.m., KMGH-Channel 7 Academy Award nominee Virginia Madsen (“Sideways”) is the reason to watch this comedy-drama based on a New Zealand series about a family of small-time criminals. Funky premise, quirky humor, all around offbeat — which may be fine for summer. Joanne Ostrow
