Englewood Fire officials are investigating a blaze that broke out in an apartment complex early this morning.
No one was injured in the fire at the Barton Apartments, 4325 South Broadway, a mixed-use complex that includes commercial and residential units.
Firefighters responded after it was reported at 4:29 a.m. It was under control less than an hour later.
“When the fire units responded an orange glow could be seen in the sky. Upon arrival the flames were through the roof, heavy smoke and fire conditions were present,” Englewood assistant fire Marshal Marla Wilcox, said in a release.
