FORT COLLINS, Colo.—A campaign official with Colorado Democratic congressional incumbent Betsy Markey says she has raised about $530,000 between April and June.
Markey spokesman Ben Marter says that brings the candidate’s fundraising total to more than $2.2 million for 2009-10. This is the second straight quarter Markey has raised more than $500,000.
The 4th Congressional District incumbent is facing a tough challenge from Republican Cory Gardner, a former state representative. Gardner is expected to release his fundraising totals next week.
