Holleran, a 10-year-old from Denver, captured Round 3 of Racing the Rockies on Sunday at The Track at Centennial to extend his lead in the Mini Max (karting) championship.
After starting second in the 15-lap main event on the 0.8-mile track near the Broncos’ Dove Valley complex, Holleran edged Jason Dempster by 0.68 of a second at the finish line. Holleran leads Dempster by 17 points heading into the Racing the Rockies finale Aug. 8 at the Pepsi Center.
