FOUR SEASONS HOTEL: The 239- room hotel, slated to open downtown this fall, named Amanda Reeve director of catering and conference services. Reeve was formerly at the Four Seasons Resort Aviara in Carlsbad, Calif. In addition, Ara Aederi was named director of food and beverage and Geena Urbina senior catering- sales manager.

DENVER ZOO: Appointed Brian Aucone as the general curator. Aucone, who started his career at the zoo as an intern, was previously assistant zoo director at the Oklahoma City Zoo.

HEATHER GARDENS: Named Calvin Eddy-White as the adult community’s general manager.

WELBORN, SULLIVAN MECK AND TOOLEY PC: Announced that Rebecca Watson, former assistant secretary for lands and minerals management for the Department of the Interior, has joined the law firm.

COLORADO EMPLOYER SUPPORT FOR THE GUARD AND RESERVE: Appointed Joe Blake, Don Mares, Glenn R. Jones, Sandra Shreve, Rick Crandall, Dick Deane, Judge Ron Crowder and Ed St. Clair to its senior advisory council.

BEACON YOUTH AND FAMILY CENTER: Appointed Jodi Zippo, owner of BellaLu Home & Design, to the board of directors.

UNIVERSITY OF DENVER: Drs. Douglas Dennis and Raymond Kim, both orthopedic surgeons at Porter Adventist Hospital, have been appointed to the faculty of the School of Engineering and Computer Science to collaborate on research efforts with the DU bioengineering faculty.
