BOULDER, Colo.—A former highly regarded University of Colorado football recruit on probation for his involvement in a 2008 fight has been arrested again, this time accused of head-butting a former teammate.

Police say 21-year-old Lynn Katoa head-butted the former teammate, placekicker Aric Goodman, outside a Boulder bar early Sunday. Katoa was arrested Thursday on suspicion of assault and violating his probation.

According to police, Katoa challenged Goodman to a fight because Katoa was mad Goodman didn’t help him get into the bar. Police say Katoa head-butted Goodman in the forehead and that Goodman didn’t hit back.

Katoa was regarded as one of country’s top linebackers in 2008. He was cut by CU last year.
