Thousands of bicyclists rode through Denver Saturday night in the Kaiser Permanente Moonlight Classic.

The 18th annual event raises money for Seniors Inc., a nonprofit organization that works to keep seniors independent in their own homes.

Waves of riders — including a “gonzo” wave starting at 11:30 p.m. — rode a closed, 10-mile course that extended from Lower Downtown to Cherry Creek.
