COLORADO SPRINGS — Douglas Bruce told the Gazette he doesn’t believe his friend and fellow anti-tax activist Bruce Nozolino is responsible for killing or trying to kill anyone as an El Paso County grand jury alleged on Thursday.
“Bruce Nozolino is still my friend,” he said Saturday. “I do not intend to abandon him.”
On Thursday, the grand jury handed up an indictment charging Nozolino with first-degree murder and attempted murder in a series of four shootings between June 2001 and November 2008.
