A group of 23 players at the World Series of Poker main event remain in the hunt to win millions, but only nine will make the final table to be played in November. Four players were eliminated within 1 1/2 hours Saturday. Chip leader Joseph Cheong, right, is a 24-year-old poker player with two bachelor’s degrees and roughly 11 percent of the chips in play. Johnny Lodden, Matthew Bucaric, Mads Wissing and Ronnie Bardah have been eliminated, each winning more than $317,000. The next pay jump in the tournament comes at 18th place, paying nearly $397,000.
