Thousands of Denver bicyclists were gathering at the State Capitol tonight for the Kaiser Permanente Moonlight Classic.
The 18th annual event raises money for Seniors Inc., a nonprofit organization that works to keep seniors independent in their own homes.
Waves of riders — including a “gonzo” wave starting at 11:30 p.m. — will ride a closed, 10-mile course that extends from downtown to Cherry Creek.
