Tax revenues paid by Colorado casinos during the fiscal year that ended June 30 increased 13.4 percent from the previous year, the state Division of Gaming said Monday.

Casinos statewide paid $107.6 million in gaming taxes in fiscal 2010, up from $94.9 million in fiscal 2009. Casinos were boosted by changes approved under Amendment 50, which allowed operators to raise bet limits from $5 to $100, offer new games and stay open 24 hours a day.

In fiscal 2010, the industry reported $764.9 million in adjusted gross proceeds, up 9 percent from $701.7 million the previous year.
