A man who was found guilty of stabbing an 80-year-old grocery store worker last year was sentenced to 15 years in prison on Monday.
Ryan Nichols was also sentenced to five years of probation for stabbing Dean Withers in the back as they passed each other in the parking lot of a Westminster King Soopers.
Withers was on his way to work and had said hello to Nichols right before he was stabbed.
He was hospitalized for four days.
