Getting your player ready...
Since it came on the Colorado golf scene in 2003, the BirdieBall has gone nationwide and become a big practice tool aid. Looking like a tube but made out of a heavyweight polymer, the BirdieBall jumps off the face of a golf club like a normal golf ball despite its shape. It can withstand a swing speed of 125 mph but travels just 40 to 50 yards. The nondimpled surface resists flight, as do the straight sides. The radius on the leading edge and the aerodynamic hole through the center encourage flight and lift.
