KDVR-Channel 31 will host half-hour debates between Colorado political candidates as the primary season heats up. So far, the scheduled debates are on the GOP side of the primary elections.
A debate between former Lt. Gov. Jane Norton and Weld County D.A. Ken Buck, Republican candidates for Senate, will be moderated by Fox31’s Ron Zappolo and telecast Friday at 9:30 p.m. on Channel 31.
A debate between former Congressman Scott McInnis and Evergreen businessman Dan Maes, Republican candidates for governor, will be moderated by Zappolo and telecast the following week, July 30 at 9:30 p.m.
Both will be rerun the Sunday following the original broadcast, the Senate candidates on Sunday at 10 p.m., the Gubernatorial candidates on Sunday at 9:30 p.m.
KDVR/KWGN VP for Content Carolyn Kane said debates among Democratic candidates are yet to be confirmed.
