Any old watch can tell time. The iBeam Watch also can magnify what you’re reading and send out a helpful stream of light. Press a little button at the top right side of the watch, and a tiny LED spotlight illuminates a menu, keyhole — or the way ahead if you aim your wrist just right. (The light shuts off automatically after 30 seconds). Press a button at the bottom right of the watch, and a 3X magnifying lens pops up from the watch face, making menus, maps or whatever easier to read. The watch comes in analog or digital models, with a leather or metal band, in men’s and women’s styles. Battery must be professionally replaced. iBeam watches, starting at $59.95, or Serve Right at 800-635-1941.
