Colorado State University now has an investment fund to help startup businesses associated with the school.
CSU Fund I is a 10-year private investment fund to help advance early-stage companies associated with the university. The fund’s director, Mark Wdowik, replicated the idea from the University of North Carolina system, where he was previously employed.
Prieto Battery Inc., a Colorado startup, was the first investment made by the fund.
