DENVER—It’s almost August—so Coloradans won’t be able to go far without hearing from four Senate candidate picking up their campaign paces as the primary elections near.
Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet is marching to the mailbox Saturday with supporters mailing ballots. His primary challenger, Andrew Romanoff, did the same on Friday. Bennet is back out public Sunday with a public rally in Denver to call on ruling Democrats in Washington to change course and push sweeping climate-change legislation.
Romanoff is spending the weekend in Fort Collins and Denver making campaign stops.
And on the Republican side, Ken Buck and Jane Norton are meeting with supporters and organizing door-to-door get-out-the-vote efforts.
The primaries are Aug. 10.
