LONE TREE, Colo.—A trial date has been set for a Colorado doctor accused of stabbing a nurse in the chest while he was hospitalized.

Grady Michael Holder is expected to go on trial Nov. 30 on charges that include second-degree attempted murder. Authorities say Holder was at the hospital in February for detoxification when the stabbing occurred.

He’s accused of calling a nurse to his room and then lunging at her with a knife. The nurse suffered stab wounds to her chest and hand. She says she still has nightmares about what happened.

Holder’s medical license has been suspended and he no longer practices at Harvard Park Medical Associates in Denver.
