Entering the 2010 season, there were more than a few people in golf who wondered if Jim Furyk’s best days were behind him. Although he managed to amass enough points to play in events such as the Ryder Cup and President’s Cup, the 40-year-old hadn’t won a tournament in two years. That changed when Furyk won the Transitions Championship and the Verizon Heritage. This week he could move to the top of the FedEx Cup points standings with a win at the Greenbrier Classic in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va.
