Connor Rakowski of Carbondale shot a 2-under-par 70 on Sunday to win the Colorado Golf Association Western Chapter Championship at The Links at Cobble Creek in Montrose.
Rakowski finished the tournament at 7-under 137, four strokes ahead of Dean Clapp of Aurora and Brandon Bingaman of Mesa State College, who tied for second at 141.
• Somin Lee of Denver finished second in the girls 16-18 division of the Optimist International Junior Golf Championships in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
Lee, who will be a senior at Overland High School, shot a 75 in the final round to finish the tournament with a 294, two strokes behind winner Manuela Carbajo Re of Argentina.
