Casper Ghosts pitcher Tyler Gagnon has a pregame superstition that suits him well. What started as a joke between his friends has turned into a part of his pregame pitching routine. “We went to a store and my buddies decided it would be funny if I tried on a suit,” Gagnon said. “So we found the ugliest shirt that we could find and then this suit. We came up with the idea that it would be funny if I wore it every time I pitched, so I kind of just went along with it. I did good the first time and have worn it ever since.” Apparently, it’s working — Gagnon is among the best pitchers in the Pioneer League, posting a 2.22 ERA. Casper Star-Tribune
