JEFFERSON COUNTY — A bicyclist found a body about 6:30 a.m. Sunday.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the circumstances of the death and closed the portion of the bike path under C-470 between West Ken Caryl and West Bowles avenues.
Jacki Kelley, a spokeswoman for the sheriff’s office, said the investigation into the incident was ongoing, but the circumstances surrounding the death do not appear to be suspicious at this point.
The identity of the body has not been released.
