BOULDER — Police arrested two suspects after a shooting early Sunday outside a hotel.

The shooting happened about 2 a.m. at the Rodeway Inn & Suites Boulder Broker, 555 30th St., authorities said.

He was then transported to Boulder Community Hospital. His injury was not life-threatening.

Boulder County sheriff’s deputies spotted a vehicle that had fled the area on U.S. 36 at FlatIron Crossing mall.

The two men in the vehicle were confirmed to be suspects in the shooting and were in custody.

Benjamin C. Roberts, 19, and Aaron R. Johnson, 20, were held on suspicion of attempted first-degree murder and first-degree assault.

Roberts also is charged with possession of weapons by a previous offender.
