DENVER—The FBI says a man accused of assaulting a federal officer on the Wind River Indian Reservation in Wyoming has contacts in the Denver area.
The FBI issued an alert on Monday asking for help finding 24-year-old Ethan Wade Surrell, who also goes by Nathan Surrell.
FBI spokesman Dave Joly Tuesday says Surrell may be in or around Denver or may be traveling in the Riverton and Cheyenne, Wyo., areas.
Surrell is 5-foot-7 and weighs 230 pounds. He has short black hair and brown eyes.
