MONUMENT, Colo.—An 18-year-old accused of fatally shooting a tire store employee during a dispute is being held without bond in El Paso County.

Lt. Lari Sevene of the sheriff’s office says Logan McClelland has been arrested on the charge of first-degree murder. He appeared in court Tuesday to be advised of the charge.

Authorities say McClelland and his father visited a Big O Tire store in Monument on Monday and got into a confrontation with 50-year-old Bradley Blehm, a store employee, in the parking lot. McClelland is accused of shooting Blehm several times.

A preliminary autopsy report says Blehm, from Monument, died from multiple gunshot wounds.

McClelland and his father are from Como, a town in South Park about 70 miles southwest of Denver.
