COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Cyclist Kenny Williams’ suspension for a doping violation has been extended after he competed in a racing series in April.
The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency says the 43-year-old Williams violated the suspension when he participated in the Seward Park racing series in Seattle. It announced Tuesday that his ban had been extended 103 days to January 3, 2012, and his April 15 results had been disqualified.
Williams of Kenmore, Wash., received a two-year suspension when he tested positive for a “prohibited Anabolic agent” when he had a urine sample collected at the Masters National Championships in August 2009.
