One of Foley’s clients, Hunter Mahan, won last week’s Bridgestone Invitational, with another, Sean O’Hair, finishing fifth. Now the golf world is waiting to see whether the Canadian will become part of one of golf’s biggest reality shows — fixing Tiger Woods’ errant game. Foley videotaped Woods’ swing during a Tuesday practice round prior to this week’s PGA Championship at Whistling Straits; both men said later that a hookup was “a possibility.” At the Bridgestone, on a course on which he had won seven times, Woods finished tied for 78th in an 80-player field. What looked like a possible Grand Slam season prior to Thanksgiving now has disaster written all over it, with the year’s final major Woods’ last chance to salvage it.
