Rapids midfielder Colin Clark will miss the rest of the season after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during a game last Saturday against the San Jose Earthquakes.
Clark, a graduate of Fort Collins High School, ruptured the same ACL last season.
He fell to the turf Saturday without contact with another player.
The Rapids said he will have surgery next week.
Colorado travels to Philadelphia to face the expansion Union at 2 p.m. today.
