WIGGINS, Colo.—The small northern Colorado town of Wiggins is the latest to struggle with how to handle medical marijuana centers.

Town Council members decided this week during their monthly meeting to continue a moratorium on pot shops. New state regulations enacted this year give municipalities the option to ban medical marijuana businesses.

Aurora is letting voters decide in November whether they want to outlaw the shops in the city and Vail and Broomfield have already decided to ban them.

Wiggins has about 840 residents.
