DENVER—Colorado Republicans say they want to introduce a bill next year that will crack down on illegal immigration and they’re looking to Arizona lawmakers for advice.

Members of Colorado’s Republican Study Committee are in Phoenix to meet with legislators and get advice on crafting an immigration law similar to Arizona’s. Republicans say they also want to know how Arizona is defending the law in court.

A federal judge blocked most of the controversial aspects of Arizona’s law a day before it was going to take effect last month.

Tennessee and Utah also who sent delegations to Arizona this summer to get advice on creating an immigration law like Arizona’s.
