Dr. Frank Ryan, a well-known plastic surgeon who performed Heidi Montag‘s extensive procedures last year, died in a single-car accident Monday in Los Angeles, according to a report.

Ryan’s Jeep careened off the Pacific Coast Highway and landed on the rocks below, according to TMZ. Ryan, 50, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ryan performed cosmetic surgery on many stars but was best known for his 10-hour procedure on Montag, 23, last Nov. 20, during which she had some 10 surgical procedures done.

Asked by People magazine at the time whether such extensive work was a good idea, Ryan replied: “My first concern is for the safety of the patient, so I would never push the envelope. Heidi’s a young, healthy girl; she was cleared medically. It was well within the realm of safety.”

Paris Hilton has her career path clearly charted: She’s going to open her own hotels.

“I’ve pretty much done all you can do, but my next project that I’d like to do is get more involved in real estate – just from being in the business and growing up in it my whole life, it’s always something I’ve been interested in,” Paris told Fox’s Pop Tarts.

“And right now that I’ve done everything I’ve wanted to do, that would definitely be the next step, to open my own hotels,” she said.

The heiress, 29, is a great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton (founder of Hilton Hotels). She co-starred along with fellow socialite and childhood best friend Nicole Richie in the television series “The Simple Life.”

Nadya Suleman, the famed “Octomom,” has just completed an autobiography, but no one wants to publish it, a source told Radar Online.

“She has been talking with publishers, but it is not nearing a deal,” the source told the gossip website. “She is holding out because she is not being offered a lucrative deal, and she feels like her personal story is worth a lot more than anyone is even interested in paying.”

The large-lipped, California resident made national and international headlines last year when she gave birth to octuplets. She has faced mounting criticism when it was discovered that she was not married, unemployed and had already given birth to six children.

Initially, Wendy Leigh — who ghost wrote “My Life with Madonna” — was supposed to write Suleman’s memoir, but quit after learning about the pay and conditions the mother demanded, the source said. So Suleman, 35, wrote the book herself. As for the title of the book, fans will have to wait if the autobiography ever comes out.

“She thinks it is clever and will make people want to buy the book,” the source said.

A city spokesman says singer Erykah Badu has paid a $500 fine and will serve six months of probation for stripping during a music video shoot at Dealey Plaza in Dallas, where President John F. Kennedy was fatally shot in 1963.

Badu performed a walking striptease March 13 for her “Window Seat” music video. The video ends with a nude Badu falling to the ground as if she has been shot.

Police in April cited her for disorderly conduct after a witness made a sworn complaint. A number of children were among the tourists and other random passers-by seen on the video.

Dallas city spokesman Frank Librio says Badu paid the fine Friday.

A spokeswoman for the singer did not immediately comment.
