FORT COLLINS, Colo.—In a story Aug. 14 about a man sentenced in his wife’s death, The Associated Press reported erroneously that Branden Burgess said he couldn’t bring himself to apologize to his wife’s family in court. Burgess did apologize at his court hearing but said he couldn’t bring himself to ask them for forgiveness.
