BROOMFIELD, Colo.—Gov. Bill Ritter is headed to a suburban Denver technical college that will start offering a degree in wind technology.
Redstone College in Broomfield has a new 15-month associate’s degree program in Wind Energy Technology. Students will learn to maintain propeller-driven wind turbines.
Ritter and Democratic Rep. Ed Perlmutter are touring the college Wednesday to promote the new wind degree. Redstone College is affiliated with Westwood, a 17-campus system based in Denver.
