Units from the Arvada Fire Department and Fairmount Fire Protection District extinguished two small brush fires at Colorado 93 and West 82nd Avenue in Jefferson County Thursday afternoon, according to Scott Pribble, Arvada Fire spokesman.
Pribble said that Arvada sent two units consisting of seven firefighters. The fires were reported about 2:20 p.m. They were out by 2:40 p.m.
