• A Page 1A story Tuesday about a proposed land swap contained numerous errors.
Because of a reporting error, the name of the mine owned by Oxbow Group was incorrect. It is the Elk Coal Mine.
Because of an editing error, three names were incorrect: Joellen Fonken is chairwoman of the Gunnison Trails Commission. Steve Rinella is a lands program specialist with the Forest Service. Andy Wiessner is with Western Land Group.
Because of an artist’s error, a map accompanying the story showed incorrect boundaries for the proposed land swap. A corrected map appears above.

• Because of a reporter’s error, a story and headline on Page 2B Thursday inaccurately reported that Bryce Barker and his attorney were negotiating a plea deal. Lawyer Timothy O’Keefe is reviewing allegations against his client stemming from a July 18 clash with three bicyclists.
