Kirchoff has won five of the past six Colorado Late Models Association races at Gillette (Wyo.) Thunder Speedway, and for Saturday’s CLMA season finale, an anonymous sponsor has put a $500 “bounty” on Kirchoff. The sponsor doesn’t want Kirchoff hurt. In fact, the bounty includes a requirement: The winning driver must take the checkered flag with Kirchoff running. Meanwhile, the CLMA begins its final weekend tonight at Casper Speedway. Both weekend races pay $1,200 to the winner.
