The Denver District Attorney’s office filed charges in a fourth case today against Benjamin Janicki, 19, accused of sexually assaulting children at Park Hill United Methodist Children’s Center.
Janicki was a summer hire at the day care center, which serves 125 families.
He was arrested Aug. 4 and has previously been charged with three counts of sexual assault on a child and three counts of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust.
In the new case, Janicki is charged with additional counts of sexual assault on a child and sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust.
Janicki remains in custody on a total bond that has now been raised to $550,000.
He will be in court Tuesday to be advised of the new charges.
Police said the investigation is ongoing and additional charges are possible.
The state Department of Human Services closed the center on Aug. 6, while it investigates what it describes as “serious and significant supervision issues.”
