Boulder deputies are investigating a road rage incident near the intersection of Highway 93 and Highway 128 that left four men on the side of the road with serious injuries.

The four were taken by ambulance to Avista Hospital, where three were treated and released. The fourth victim was taken to Saint Anthony’s Central for additional treatment. His condition is not known.

Two of the men had facial and skull fractures and the other two had scrapes and bruises, according to Sgt. Bill Crist of the Boulder County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies were called to the scene at about 2 a.m. and found the four on the side of the road. The Rocky Mountain Fire Department responded to the scene.

No arrests have been made.
