FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Sen. Michael Bennet is continuing to talk about education this weekend as he takes his series of town halls to Fort Collins.

The Democratic senator is traveling the state during the Senate recess talking about education and reducing federal spending. Bennet’s Fort Collins town hall comes after the senator launches a statewide charity drive in Denver for school supplies for needy students.

Bennet’s Republican opponent, Ken Buck, is also talking about spending this weekend. Buck plans to attend a rally in Denver calling for an amendment to the U.S. constitution requiring a balanced budget for the federal government.
