A man who was injured while climbing in the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area west of Brainard Lake on Saturday was rescued via helicopter after a lengthy search of the area, the Daily Camera reported.
Boulder County sheriff’s Sgt. Troy Wolf told the Camera that the injured man was found after an hours- long search of the area that involved more than 50 rescue workers.
7News reported that the climber fell nearly 200 feet and was airlifted to a Denver hospital with serious injuries after a technical rope rescue.
