DENVER—A judge says a first-degree murder trial can proceed for a Denver man accused in the disappearance of a business partner.

A Denver County judge ruled Friday after a preliminary hearing that there is probable cause to believe 66-year-old Joong Rhee may be guilty.

Rhee is scheduled to enter a plea in district court Sept. 30 in the disappearance of Hae C. Park, whose family last saw him March 27. Police say they have found evidence indicating Park died at Rhee’s office.

Authorities suspect Park’s body may have been dumped in the Colorado River east of Glenwood Springs, but they haven’t found it yet.
